What is the most annoying problem in front of the monitor? A computer that moves like a snail or a slow internet connection?
We have already explained what to do with a slow computer, now it’s time to see how we can proceed in order to have a faster internet connection.
First, you should see what internet speed you actually have. Thus, you will be able to make a comparison between the speed of your computer and the average speed of the subscribers of the same provider. If all goes well, you should know that internet speed can slow down depending on your browsing habits.
If you constantly open many tabs, download one or more movies, possibly some music, and watch a little more on YouTube, it may not load everything as quickly. So, first of all, try to make everything a little more orderly.
And, if you’ve started cleaning your computer, you can also check how much RAM your browser extensions consume, or you can see what you need to do when you have many tabs open at once. If you still use Internet Explorer, try other options. Chrome, Firefox, or Opera are top browsers that will impress you. Eventually, you can try to disable their extensions or plugins.
If things do not go well after the speed tests, first try to restart the router or reset the network card. Also in terms of cleaning, you can get rid of temporary files (Start – All Programs – Accessories – System Tools – Disk Clean-up). But we recommend EaseeControl, a utility that quickly deletes all unnecessary files.
We stay here for a while because you should get rid of unnecessary programs that you have installed, maybe without knowing it. Toolbars, extensions, adware, or spyware that came bundled with an ok program.
